SDP’s annual fundraiser, the Fabulous Feast gala, helps raise essential operating funds for SDP.
The Fabulous Feast started in 1995 and has been voted “Best LongStanding Fundraiser” by Buffalo Spree Magazine. Themed each year to connect with one of SDP’s current summer season plays, the gala includes a 5-course Elizabethan style meal, fine grog (beverages), plus appearances from an entire troupe of colorful character actors and entertainers for all to enjoy!
Attendees can have their picture taken in Shakespearean garb and try their luck at period games of chance. Actors conduct sword play right next to your table (or sometimes on the table)! Lob Shakespearean insults at your friends or enemies: “Thou burly-boned fly-bitten baggage!”
