When are the performances?
Performances run Tuesdays through Sundays from mid-June to the third week of August. Dates, of course, vary by year.

All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. EST. On busy nights, it would be best to arrive at least 1/2 hour ahead of time.

Where are the performances?
Performances are held on Shakespeare Hill in Delaware Park next to Hoyt Lake behind the Rose Garden, off Lincoln Parkway near the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.

Where can I park?
Parking for Shakespeare in Delaware Park is on street parking.
***PLEASE NOTE: The City of Buffalo and Parking Enforcement have announced they will be ticketing cars parked on the grass or medians along Lincoln Parkway.

What can I bring?
You may bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.  The area closest to the stage at the bottom of the hill is reserved for blankets only, the top of the hill allows for blankets and chairs.

You may bring food, soda, water, wine, beer, etc.  All we ask is that you respect the beautiful park and take whatever you brought in out with you at the end of the night.

What is the weather cancellation policy?

The safety of our audience and actors is our first priority.  Weather conditions change quickly through our area.  We will hold the show if we think it the rain will pass or cancel the show if the weather is severe.  In the case of heavy rain or lightening storms, we will cancel the performance. We normally never cancel a show before 6:30pm.

The best way to know if a show is cancelled due to weather is to follow us on Facebook  Decisions are typically made after 6:30pm or close to curtain.

How do I find out if the show has been cancelled?

* Call our office at 716-856-4533 AFTER 6:30pm the day of the performance.
