There are dozens of free activities happening this summer around Western New York. News 4’s Teresa Weakley sat down with President and CEO of Visit Buffalo Niagara, Patrick Kaler, to discuss the top free events for families in WNY. From festivals to concerts, there are a lot of events to take advantage of this season. Here are the tops picks from Visit Buffalo Niagara:
58th annual Allentown Art Festival – June 13th and 14th
Garden Walk Buffalo – July 25th and 26th
Shakespeare in Delaware Park – Tuesdays – Sundays at 7:30 PM. The two productions will be Romeo & Juliet (June 18 – July 12) and Twelfth Night (July 23 – August 16)
Fridays at Museums (Get into a different Buffalo museum of free each Friday) – First Friday at the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Second Fridays at the Burchfield Penney Art Center, Third Fridays at the Buffalo History Museum and Fourth Fridays at the Buffalo Arts Studio.
